The Bond County Community Unit 2 board of education has renewed its contract with Bushue Human Resources of Effingham.
The one-year contract will cost $8,700, which is $60 more than last year.
The firm oversees the district’s insurance program, developing specifications, obtaining and reviewing bids, and recommending policies.
Unit 2 Superintendent Wes Olson said the firm is very familiar with districts throughout the state and advises them in matters of labor, labor law, labor practices, and risk management. The firm also helps the district meet state requirements by providing online training for district employees.
