The City of Greenville has many projects underway at this time, including road, and water and sewer line work.
City Manager Dave Willey said the South Street work, from Second to Elm streets, is more complicated than originally planned, noting there was essentially no base under the asphalt on South Street.

Six other sections of roads are being asphalted. Willey said there are many improvements underway in the city, including several sewer, street, and water projects.
