Comet Closet At Greenville High School

Everyone is invited to donate school items, needed by high school students, to a new project at the Greenville High School. Sue Stone and Lorna Stowers are starting a helping hand project, called the “Comet Closet.” They will assist needy high school students with clothing, school supplies, and personal hygiene products. You may drop off items during student registration Thursday, August 4, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Co-organizer Sue Stone told WGEL the program will be ongoing and those wanting to donate cash or items can drop them off at the Greenville High School office. For more information, call the school at 664-1370.

School supplies include pencils, pens, loose leaf paper, notebooks, highlighters, post-it notes, and folders with pockets. You may also leave personal hygiene items and clothing.

WGEL will have more on the Comet Closet in future Bond County Area Newscasts.
