It was a full night of demolition derby action Saturday at the Bond County Fair.
Thirteen cars were in the old school demolition derby feature. The winner was Don Santel from New Memphis. Travis Blevins of Pocahontas placed second and Matt Oglesby was third.
In the stock car class, there were only three vehicles. David Jackson of Greenville was the winner. Riding with him was Aaron Jackson.
Tyler Hill of Greenville placed second and Scott Doll of Pocahontas was third.
Fifteen cars were in the compact car feature. First place went to Seth Strotheide of Greenville. John Spratt of Greenville rode with him.
Second in the compact class was Les Jernigan of Smithboro and David Hayes from St. Rose finished third.
The winner of the pro-mod lawn mower derby was William Essenpreis of Grantfork.
The C-Clip lawn mower derby was stopped with the brother-sister pair of Abby and Zach Gebke of Greenville and their cousin, Emily Gebke of Carlyle remaining.
Over 30 little cars were in the kid’s power wheel event.
