The Mulberry Grove community organization FOLK, which stands for “For Our Local Kidz”, is finalizing plans for the Mulberry Grove Community Picnic Saturday, August 13.
Wes Pourchot is cooking pork chops, pork burgers, and brats and serving begins at 2:00 p.m. in the air conditioned building. Dinners are $8.00 and include your choice of sandwich, potato or macaroni salad, baked beans, corn, and cupcakes. Ice cream and funnel cakes will be available as well as a variety of drinks. There will be bounce houses and games for the kids. Line-up for the parade begins at 3:00 p.m. on Church Street. The parade starts at 4:00 going north on Church Street, west on Main Street, and south on Maple Street ending at the park. Musical entertainment begins at 5:00 and continues until 9:00.
Proceeds will benefit the purchase of new playground equipment for the park.
