Saturday’s Night Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation’s Celebration of Life concluded with the solemn luminary ceremony, to remember those who have battled cancer and those who have lost the fight.
Jane Wilhite, chairman of the luminary committee, said the foundation is committed to the cancer patients of Bond County. “Someday we won’t have to worry about cancer,” she said. “Someday we will live in a cancer-free world. Until that time, the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation and all who support it will be here for the families.”
