Tuesday, September 20 is a deadline for Bond County real estate taxes.
County Treasurer Katie Weiss said her office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and they’re usually in the office early and late this time of year. You can also make the payment at local banks.

The treasurer said the collection of taxes has been steady in the past month. She said the only shortcoming has been that no credit card payments are allowed this year. Her office does, however, accept credit card checks.
