Greenville Police August Activity Report

The Greenville Police Department activity report shows two cases of battery, one burglary, six thefts from motor vehicles, one theft of items valued at more than $500.00 and two thefts of items valued at less than $500.00, two incidents of shoplifting, and six reports of criminal damage to property.

There were four offenses involving juveniles and two for illegal drugs.

Officers had ten uninsured motorist violations, one incident of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, 12 driver’s license infractions, three speeding tickets, and four seat belt violations.

Police responded to nine traffic accidents one with injuries.

There were 78 calls to local fire protection districts.
