It’s homecoming week at Greenville High School.
A highlight will be Saturday night for the homecoming dance. A coronation will be held to crown the homecoming queen and king.
Senior queen candidates are Kortnie Dunn, Vamarah Green, Tarren Hogue, Bailey Sidwell and Maddey Tebbe.
Senior king candidates are Dawson Chesnut, Lewis Green, Ryan Hutchinson, Matt Timmermann, and Camden Wall.
Each of the other classes have two girls serving as princesses of the court and two boys as princes.
The juniors are Hayley Bunker, Daisy Kaplan, Lawton File and Blake Doll.
Sophomores are Anna Mueller, Maddie Wade, Drew Frey and Hunter Matthews.
Freshmen are Rylee Pickett, Hannah Simpson, Jonathan Barnes and Logan Doll.
Monday of homecoming week was Twin Day.




Tuesday is Generations Day; Wednesday, Class Color Day; Thursday, Decade Day; and Friday, Comet Blue & White Day. The homecoming parade is 3:15 Friday afternoon.
It’s the 60th anniversary of Unit 2. A special guest will serve as parade marshal. Returning to GHS will be former teacher and coach Gordon Rogers.
The homecoming football game is Friday night with the queen and king candidates and the rest of the court introduced at halftime.
