At the recent Mulberry Grove Board of Education meeting, Jamie Epperson and Brooke Earnest with the Mulberry Grove PTO reported on the plastic cap drive from last year.
During the 2015-2016 school year, students collected 1480 pounds of plastic caps and lids. The plastic will be converted into benches and a picnic table for the school.
The PTO purchased three benches, four feet long, two orange and one blue, and one six foot blue picnic table for the concession building for $820.00. The benches and table will be picked up September 26 and installed as soon as possible. The benches will be around the flag pole west of the elementary school.
