Nicholas R. “Nick” Sutton, age 33 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
He was born on Monday, September 12, 1983, in Springfield, IL, the son of Ronald and Danette (nee Wescott) Sutton.
Nick was born in Springfield, IL and grew up in Highland. He was a 2002 graduate of Highland High School. He played football and basketball in school. He was very active with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Before and during high school he worked at Ponderosa. He has also worked at Harrah’s in St. Louis, Jimmy Johns in Edwardsville, Buffalo Wild Wings in O’Fallon and Edwardsville, Blue Owl in Kimswick, all in Restaurant Management. He was currently working as Director of Food and Beverage at Marriott St. Louis Airport. Nick coached for Highland Quarterback Club and enjoyed working-out at Apex and spending time with family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Marriott St. Louis Airport in Saint Louis, MO.
