Oklahoma Earthquake Felt Close To Home

Did you feel a little rumble Saturday morning? WGEL received a few reports of what the callers believed to be a minor earthquake, just after 7:00 a.m. Saturday. Upon investigation we learned that a 5.6 magnitude earthquake was reported by the US Geological Survey about 9 miles northwest of Pawnee, Oklahoma.

People have reported feeling effects of that quake throughout the Midwest, including Greenville.
