Our pie bakers on Monday included Bart Caldieraro from Watson’s Health Mart Drug Store, Sorento Center Principal Bill Carpenter & Pocahontas Center Principal Jason Rakers, Bond County Board Member Gerald “Spanky” McCray, Pat Kious & Dusty Bauer from The First National Bank, and Unit 2 School Superintendent Wes Olson.

On Tuesday we welcomed Bond County State’s Attorney Chris Bauer, Lady Comets Basketball Coach Kolin Dothager, Tim Watson from Arthur Young Chevrolet in Vandalia, and Greenville Police Chief Lou Lorton.

And Wednesday we concluded with Mulberry Grove Unit 1 Superintendent Brad Turner, Darryl Bolen from the Greenville First Christian Church, WGEL Farm Reporter Joe Doll, Randy Alderman & Jace Keaster from Bradford National Bank, Dave Tabor of the Greenville Knights of Columbus, and Greenville Jr. High Principal Gary Brauns.

Thanks to all of our pie bakers – and our pie buyers!!!

All in, after three days of auctioning pies and combing additional contributions from employees, church members, and community members connected to our bakers, we raised a total of $12,191!!! All to benefit the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation in their mission to help Bond County residents battling cancer.

Thanks again to our pie bakers…our pie buyers…and to our great community for their support of this great cause – the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation. Be sure to attend their Celebration of Life event the evening of September 24 at the American Farm Heritage Museum!
