Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall In Greenville

The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall Experience will be in the area this week, making stops in at Donnewald Distributing in Greenville and in Highland Wednesday afternoon and will then be set up for three days in Troy.

Gideon Richeson, of Troy, who works with the Vietnam Wall Experience Committee, told WGEL the stop in Greenville will occur Wednesday between noon and 3 p.m. There will be refreshments and a brief ceremony before the caravan heads west on Rt. 40 at 3 p.m.

After traveling through Pocahontas on Rt. 40, the wall will then stop in Highland for a short service at Rinderer Park.

Once in Troy, the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall Experience will be set up in Tri-Township Park for a three day exhibition, Friday through Sunday. Friday’s activities will include an opening ceremony at 7 p.m. and a candlelight service at 9 p.m. Another service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday. Sunday’s activities include a closing ceremony at 1 p.m.
