The Bond County Unit 2 School Board took action on several personnel matters in their meeting this week.
Vonda Schuette was hired as a Kindergarten Readiness Program aide at the Greenville Elementary School.
The retirement of Joe Pruitt as head custodian at Greenville Jr. High School was accepted, effective September 9.
Resignations accepted included April Watson as high school dance team coach, effective immediately, and Gale Shaw as KRP route bus driver, effective September 19.
Austin Kastl was hired as co-sponsor for the high school fall play. He will split the salary with the other sponsor, Scott Spencer. Because the school musical will be presented in December this year, the play has been pushed back to March of next year.
Donald Smith was hired as the Pocahontas boys’ basketball coach, Amanda O’Reagan was approved as volleyball coach at Pocahontas School, and Kassidy Alderman will be a volunteer coach for the high school’s Lady Comets basketball program.
