With the general election two weeks away, on November 8, there are probably some Bond County residents realizing they are not registered to vote.
The Illinois legislature has allowed you to vote using the grace program.
Bond County Clerk Randy Reitz explained that grace voting is possible if you bring two proofs of residence to his office. You will be registered to vote and must cast your vote that day.

Grace voting, for those currently not registered, can be done through Election Day.
Those who are registered and want to vote before the election can do so at the county clerk’s office. Early voting is available through November 7.
