Greenville Police September Activity Report

According to the Greenville Police Department September activity report, officers handled one case of battery and one assault. There were 11 thefts from motor vehicles, one theft of items valued at more than $500.00, one theft less than $500.00, one incident of shoplifting, and seven reports of criminal damage to property. There were three offenses involving juveniles and three incidents of possession or delivery of illegal drugs.

Officers wrote five citations for uninsured motorists, two for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and one for illegal transportation of alcohol. They wrote six driver’s license violations citations, seven for seat belt infractions, and 11 speeding tickets. Greenville Police responded to 11 traffic accidents two with injuries.

There were 75 calls to local fire districts.
