The Greenville Knights of Columbus once again donated 100 pounds of ground beef to the Bond County Food Pantry. The Knights have been making this annual donation for many years.
Making the presentation is council member Jim Hickman to Food Pantry volunteer Jeannie Zbinden.
The Greenville Knights of Columbus is a local community service organization that supports many causes in Bond County including the Backpack Program, providing weekend meals to elementary students where a need has been identified.
Currently, the organization is collecting new coats for youth to present to those in need in Bond County schools before the winter cold sets in.
If you would like to donate a coat, contact Randy Alderman in Greenville.
