MG Village Board Member Resigns

At their meeting Monday, the Mulberry Grove Village Board received the resignation of board member Mary Carter effective immediately. Carter still has two years remaining of her term. According to board policy, Mayor Michael Henrichsmeyer will appoint a person to serve the remainder of Carter’s term. Board members suggested names of interested people for the mayor’s consideration.

Originally, plans were to install the new playground equipment immediately and put down a protective ground cover next spring. Following insurance company recommendations, the new equipment and ground cover will be set up at the same time, probably next month.

The board set Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours for Monday, October 31, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Boy Scout Troop 4059 is having a Trunk-or-Treat the same evening, from 5:00 – 7:00 at the Community Building in the park. Food will be available.

The board decided to offer a 1985 Dodge truck for sale through sealed bids. For more information, call the village office at 326-8815.
