The first mobile food market in Sorento was presented Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist Church.
The project is sponsored by Bond County University of Illinois Extension 4-H and the Central Illinois Food Bank.
Fresh produce was offered to anyone in the area and Liz Miller, local 4-H youth development educator, said over 150 people picked up food. She said the turnout was, “unbelievable”.
