Beginning Wednesday, the Bond County University of Illinois Extension 4-H and the Central Illinois Food Bank are teaming up to provide fresh produce to area residents.
The mobile market will be based at the Sorento Baptist Church, 207 Taylor Street.
Liz Miller, local 4-H youth development educator, said the new program allows 4-H members to learn about where food comes from and creates an opportunity for those kids to lead change in advocating for more food secure communities.
