Ever since 2012, HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville has designated the Greenville Comets’ football game against Vandalia as the Pink Bowl Game.
The fifth annual Pink Bowl game is Friday night at Vandalia.
The Pink Bowl is designed to promote the breast cancer awareness and women’s health. Players and cheerleaders have been given complimentary Pink Bowl t-shirts. During the fourth quarter of the game, small footballs will be tossed to fans.
The winner of the game is presented the Pink Bowl trophy.
WGEL will broadcast Friday night’s game at Vandalia. The pre-game begins about 6:40 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m. Listen at 101.7 FM or online at wgel.com.
