Red Ribbon Week festivities came to a close Friday at Greenville Elementary School.
A Red Ribbon walk was held, led by the Greenville Jr. High Marching Bluejays.
Elementary school students and teachers walked to Killarney Drive, west to Hena Street, and then went past the high school and junior high back to GES.
Principal Eric Swingler said Red Ribbon week is important to the school as it ties in to the expectations the school has for students for academics and a drug-free lifestyle. He said the students enjoyed the week-long celebration.
