Red Ribbon Week

This is National Red Ribbon Week, an effort to promote a drug-free life. Schools throughout the Unit 2 School District are celebrating the occasion with a variety of special themed days.

Themes at Greenville Elementary school, the Pocahontas Center, and the Sorento Center include Pajama Day, Favorite Disney Character Day, Favorite Sports Team Day, Camouflage Day, and Crazy Socks, Hat, and Hair Days.

Students at Greenville High School are also celebrating with themed days. They also have the opportunity to sign the “Pledge To Be Drug Free” banner in the cafeteria and will be shown a special screening of “The Heroin Project” documentary.
