A Centralia man has been sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge in Clinton County Circuit Court.
Terrell T. Branch, age 25, was given five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He entered a negotiated plea of guilty on September 29 to a Class 3 felony charge of aggravated battery to a pregnant woman.
Another felony charge of alleged criminal sexual assault by force was dismissed by the state as part of the plea negotiations.
The aggravated battery occurred on November 2, 2015 at a residence in Centralia.
