Several personnel items were addressed in the recent Bond County Unit 2 School Board meeting.
Hired were Trisha Taylor as a full-time special education aide at the Greenville Elementary School, Kathleen Beloit as a half-time special education aide at Pocahontas, Angela Wall as a full-time special education aide for the Greenville Kindergarten Readiness Program, Daniel Hutchins as a maintenance employee, Annie Claire Bastien as the dance team coach at the high school, Parker Manhart as the assistant track coach at Greenville Jr. High, and Bill Carpenter as boys’ basketball coach at Sorento.
Carpenter is the principal at Sorento School and will be retiring after this school year.
David Oestreich was approved as a volunteer coach for the high school scholar bowl team.
The board passed a resolution to dismiss Andrew Crosswait as a special education aide.
Two resignations were approved. High School industrial arts teacher Dan Burns resigned effective December 30, or sooner if a replacement can be found.
Billie Worstell resigned as a food service employee at the high school.
The board granted IMRF credit to Dan Lappe for the time he served as a substitute employee in the district.
All personnel motions were approved on 7-0 votes by the board.
