The Mulberry Grove Aces will open their 2016-17 basketball season tonight in their own Thanksgiving boy’s tournament.
The Aces play Sandoval in a game scheduled to begin at 8:15. WGEL will broadcast the contest.
The tournament began Monday night with three games played. South Central beat North Clay 66 to 54, St. Elmo/Brownstown edged Mt. Olive 62 to 61 and Patoka topped Ramsey 50 to 34.
After tonight, the Aces face Mt. Olive at 8:15 Wednesday night and play St. Elmo/Brownstown at 8:15 Friday night. The tournament ends Saturday. Pool play standings will determine when teams play Saturday.
WGEL will broadcast Mulberry Grove games tonight, Friday and Saturday.
