Ameren IL To Honor City Of Greenville

Representatives from Ameren Illinois will be in Greenville Wednesday, November 2nd to designate Greenville as a Progressive City, award a Right Tree Right Place grant, and donate an aerial bucket truck.

Greenville is one of nine cities throughout the Ameren Illinois service territory to receive the Progressive City designation for its success in implementing forward-looking initiatives to better the quality of life for residents and businesses. The completion of 36 residential and business energy efficiency projects between June 1, 2015, and May 31, 2016, generated almost $45,000 in annual energy savings.

The Right Tree Right Place Grant will enhance the city’s ongoing effort to plant new trees across the community, while the aerial bucket truck will help with general city maintenance.
