Come Home For Christmas

City crews hang Christmas lights around the square in preparation for Come Home for Christmas on Saturday.

The annual Come Home for Christmas event is Saturday evening in downtown Greenville.

Kami Suess, Greenville Tourism Director, provided the details, which includes a visit from Santa at 5 PM. She said he will arrive via Second Street and turn on the Christmas lights on the courthouse and around the square. He will visit with kids in the small building on College Avenue.

You can enjoy hot chocolate and cookie decorating, take in performances by the Fusion Dance Center and the cast of White Christmas from Greenville High School, and kids can shop at the Mouse House and make crafts. Watson’s Health Mart Drugstore will host a photo booth and soup will be served outside of Watson’s.

Those attending the courthouse lighting should gather on College Avenue in front of the courthouse.
