ISP Crash Suspect Apprehended

Earlier on WGEL, we reported that during a police pursuit Friday, October 28, in Randolph County, a Chester Police Officer was fatally injured in a crash. The driver of the car being pursued was identified as Jason Michael Stoker and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Jason Michael Stoker was apprehended Tuesday afternoon, November 1, in the St. Louis area on the Randolph County warrant for alleged aggravated fleeing and eluding a peace officer.

Bond had been set at $250,000.

Stoker will remain in custody in Missouri until extradition proceedings are resolved.
