Marian Niehaus (Nee Knebel), 91, of St. Jacob, IL, died Friday, November 11, 2016, at Highland Healthcare Center, Highland, IL.
Marian was born October 3, 1925, to Elmer and Rose (Nee Wagner) Knebel, in Pierron, IL. On February 20, 1954, she married Marvin Niehaus at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL. She was a seamstress and liked to cook. Marian loved her family especially her grandchildren. She was devoted to her husband. She lived the farm life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rose Knebel; her husband of 61 years, Marvin Niehaus (July 6, 2015); brothers, Nelson Knebel, Raymond Knebel.
Marian is survived by her son, John (Dana) Niehaus, Troy, IL; grandchildren, Allisen Niehaus, Aaren Niehaus, Austen Niehaus; sisters-in-law, Henrietta Knebel, Trenton, IL, Arline Fohne, O’Fallon, IL, Bernice (Leonard) Dickerson, Collinsville, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 8:00 to 9:30 am at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.
