Illinois State Police arrested Glen R. Ramey, age 53, of Olney, Sunday, November 27, at 2:21 a.m., in connection with the death of Sabrina Stauffenberg, age 8, of Olney.
Stauffenberg was found deceased Wednesday evening November 23, on the south side of Olney. Ramey is currently held in the Richland County Jail pending formal arraignment for alleged first degree murder and predatory sexual assault.
Ramey’s arrest is the result of a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies of the Southern Illinois Child Death Task Force.
No further information is being released at this time.
