The annual Veteran’s Day ceremony was held Thursday morning at Greenville High School.
Over 50 veterans from the area attended the ceremony in the school gymnasium. Jerry Wall of Greenville, a veteran who graduated from GHS in 1996, was the guest speaker. He was introduced by his son, senior student Camden Wall.
Another senior, Caleb Campbell spoke to the students, teachers and veterans about Veteran’s Day. He spoke of the importance of a day to recognize all current and former service men and women, provided some history of the holiday, and noted that every day should be Veterans Day.
