The Clinton County 4-H Federation held a food drive for their November community service project. Group members worked with local businesses to set up collection boxes at numerous locations around the county. When the youth gathered their donations at the end of November they had more than 500 items for the BCMWs in Breese and Centralia.

Caleigh Arentsen and Cheryl Timmermann made the delivery to the Breese BCMW, and Shelby and Mike Claypool made the delivery to the Centralia BCMW.
4-H strives to teach youth life skills, including the importance of being a caring community member. The food drive was the first of four different community service activities the group has planned for this year. There second community service project is currently ongoing, they have adopted a family for Christmas.
