A fundraiser, for the celebration of Bond County’s bicentennial next year, is scheduled for Monday, December 12.
The movie night, with a pre-show meal, will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville.
John Coleman, chairman of the Bicentennial Committee, said the Bond County Historical Society has in its possession several home movies that were made in the 1940’s and 50’s. The movies show several scenes around Greenville. Many are in color.
The videos will be shown on December 12, along with some photos. Organizers may share some trivia as well.
