Judge John Knight administered the oath of office to recently elected Bond County officeholders on Thursday.
State’s Attorney Chris Bauer, Circuit Clerk Rex Catron, Coroner Tony Brooks, and Supervisor of Assessments Georgia Shank were all sworn in. Each ran unopposed in the November election. This year marks the first year the Supervisor of Assessments was selected by voters.
Once Chris Bauer was sworn in as State’s Attorney, Assistant State’s Attorney Dora Mann took the oath of office as an employee of Bauer’s office.
