Pet Adoptions

The Bond County Humane Society has a pet adoption program to match up dogs and cats with new owners.

During the last week of November, the society adopted at least 16 animals, staring with 14 of them on Saturday, November 26 in Fairview Heights.

Rachel Hundsdorfer, president of the society, said eight cattle dog mix puppies were adopted, along with an adult dog, and five kittens on one record day. That day was followed by two adoptions the next day.
