Visitors Restricted Due To Flu

Due to increased numbers of flu cases, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese is implementing the following visitor restrictions.

Children 14 year old and younger are asked not to visit unless absolutely necessary.

Anyone with flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, sore throat, body or muscle aches, headache, cough, or runny nose, or with nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea is asked not to visit patients. Persons with any of these symptoms at the hospital for medical reasons or an absolutely necessary visit are encouraged to wear a mask and wash their hands often.

Alcohol hand gel, tissues, and masks are available at all entrances to the Breese hospital and HealthPlex. Visitors are encouraged to use these supplies while on the premises.
