With the passage of Senate Bill 2912, retired educators with a lapsed license may renew their license at no cost. Proof of retirement from a state retirement system must be provided by December 31, 2017. Teachers should call their local Regional Office of Education with questions about their license or to get more information about what to include in the letter and where it should be sent.
