Greenville College’s men’s basketball team picked up two conference wins last week on the road.
Wednesday, the Panthers beat Fontbonne 130 to 114.
Michael Hohm led the offense with 21 points. Stevonte Young added 17 points and Kenny Greene had 16.
Saturday at Louisville, Kentucky, Greenville College defeated Spalding 125 to 119.
Greene had 19 points, DeAndre Brown 17 and Elmo Smith 16.
The Panthers are 16 and 4 for the season and have a 10 and 3 record in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Greenville is tied with Westminster for first place in the conference.
The Panthers host Iowa Wesleyan, who is third in the conference, at 8 p.m. Wednesday and play at Eureka Saturday.
The Greenville College basketball Lady Panthers split two games last week.
After losing at Fontbonne University Wednesday night, the G.C. women won at Spalding University on Saturday.
Fontbonne beat Greenville 68 to 38.
Travelling to Kentucky to battle Spalding, the Lady Panthers recorded a 68 to 51 victory. Leading scorers were Taylor Paulin with 16 points, Laura Goodnight with 15 and Claire Schmitt with 13.
The G.C. women have an overall record of 14 and 8 and are 9 and 4 for second place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
They host Iowa Wesleyan at 6 p.m. Wednesday and play at Eureka Saturday.
