Greenville area residents will be hearing the sound of fireworks Thursday night.
The company providing the fireworks, in downtown Greenville on July 2, will conduct a brief test Thursday.
It will not be a complete display, but only a test to determine the size of shells to be used for the big Independence Day celebration in July.
