KPD Budget

The Kingsbury Park District Board has approved a new budget and appropriations ordinance for the 2017 fiscal year.

Action was taken at the March meeting after a public hearing was held and no one commented about the proposed budget. The vote was 4 to 0 with Anthony Macon absent.

The budget covers January 1 through December 31 of this year.

It is anticipated that six of the seven funds will end the year with a positive balance, taking into account carryover cash entering the fiscal year.

The capitol improvement fund is expected to have revenues and expenditures of $981,834. A major pool renovation project will get underway after the 2017 swimming season.

Overall, the budget revenues and expenditures show the park district is expected to end the year with an overall balance of $102,593.
