Lady Panthers NCCAA Basketball

The Greenville College women’s basketball team is playing in the National Christian College Athletic Association national tournament.

Saturday afternoon, the Lady Panthers won the North Central Regional title by defeating Northwestern of Minnesota 70 to 55. The game was played in Greenville.

G.C. led 15 to 11 after one quarter, 40 to 28 at halftime and 51 to 43 after three quarters.

Taylor Paulin led the Greenville offense with 25 points. She was joined by Claire Schmitt with 12 points and Laura Goodnight with 11.

The Lady Panthers head to the NCCAA Division I national tourney with a 20 and 9 record.

The first-round pairings will announced soon.

The national event will be held at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana from March 15 to March 18.
