The first annual Bond County Senior Center March For Meals run/walk was very successful Saturday morning, March 25.
Senior Center Director Jill Jones said over $2,600 was raised for the home-delivered meals program.
A total of 38 people competed in the event, with 13 doing the 5K run. Jones was pleased with the number of participants.

Will Adkins of Hillsboro was the overall winner in the run.
The senior center director said the money raised on Saturday is very important to the Meals on Wheels program.
