Formal Wear Share For Prom

The Bond County 4-H Youth Representatives are hosting a Formal Wear Share through April 15. They are collecting formal dresses, dress pants, shirts and suits. These will be re-distributed to area teens who can’t afford to buy or rent formal wear for their prom. The 4-H Youth Reps know that attending prom can be expensive. They don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t attend due to the cost, and are trying to help with what is usually the most expensive part-the outfit.

If you have formal wear taking up space in the closet, this is a great way to put it to good use. Items can be donated at the Bond County Extension Office in Greenville. The clothing will be handed out through the Extension Office and ‘We Stand in the Gap’ of Sorento. Those wishing to donate, or in need of formal clothing for prom should contact the Extension Office at 618-664-3665.
