Weather permitting, Greenville High School’s Give-Back Day will be held Friday, April 28.
This is the fifth year that GHS students have signed up to do community service work.
Principal Wendy Porter said students volunteer to be involved in Give-Back Day and their parents sign off on their participation. Students go to several sites, including several cemeteries, the Village of Pocahontas, the Bond County Fairgrounds, the Humane Society, and the Bond County Health Department and do work projects. Over 200 students have signed up for this year.

Mrs. Porter said students are excited to be involved. She says it does a lot of good to see exactly what’s there and take pride in what the work sites look like.
