April Animal Control Report

Bond County Animal Control Officer Jim Hess received a total of 43 animal complaints during the month of April. 13 were from the county and 30 reports were fielded from within the Greenville city limits.

10 dogs were impounded with 8 returned to the owner. 8 cats were impounded and 1 was released to the owner.

Three cats were released to the Bond County Humane Society and one dog was released to another no-kill shelter. Two cats were adopted out from the shelter. One dog was euthanized.

Hess fielded 4 reports of wild animals, including 3 raccoons and one ground hog, all within the Greenville city limits.

Three animal bites were reported; one in the county and two in the city.
