Bicentennial Parade

A parade will be part of the Bond County Bicentennial/Fourth Fest celebration in Greenville this summer.

Alan Davis, parade coordinator, said the parade will be at 3 PM on Sunday, July 2. The parade will line up along College Avenue and go by the Greenville Square, just like the Greenville Bicentennial parade. Parade participants are asked to sign up in advance. For more, call 267-9110.

Davis said this is a county parade and organizers would like to have representatives from all towns and villages in the county.

The weekend celebration begins on Saturday, July 1 and extends through July 2. Free entertainment will be presented throughout the celebration, which will also feature a fireworks display on Sunday night.
