Donnellson Home A Total Loss

Shoal Creek firefighters responded to a structure fire in Donnellson Tuesday morning just before 2 AM.

Assistant Shoal Creek Fire Chief Dave Caulk told WGEL several neighbors reported hearing an explosion and made the emergency call. The home, located on the corner of State and Jefferson Streets in Donnellson was unoccupied. Caulk said the house was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene and was a total loss. The cause is unknown.

No injuries were reported. Personnel from the Greenville and Taylor Springs Fire Departments provided mutual aid. Crews were on the scene for about two hours.
