Joyce E. Haislar, age 79 of Highland, IL, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at Deceased’s Residence in Highland, IL.

She was born on Sunday, December 19, 1937, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Waldo and Grace (nee Riggs) Luehm.

On Saturday, June 15, 1957, she married Anthony C. “Tony” Haislar at St. Paul Catholic Church – Highland, IL, who survives.

She was a member of the Lee Iten Post 439-American Legion Auxiliary, Highland, IL.

Joyce was born and grew up in Highland. She was a Highland High School graduate in 1955. She worked for International Shoe Factory in St. Louis, MO; Marine Garment Factory in Highland,IL; Candle Light Restaurant in Highland, IL; Sietz Jewelry Store in Highland, IL. She enjoyed her family and having get togethers with friends and family.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Private Services will be Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Father Pat G. Jakel, Pastor, St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL, officiating.

Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
